The logo of the DBP is a unique geometrical figure that has a perfect square inside it, and from its corners are four arrowheads pointing outward, representing the history of the Bank.
The bottom right corner indicates the operation of the National Loan and Investment Board (NLIB) from 1935 to 1938, while the bottom left corner represents the Agricultural and Industrial Bank (AIB) which succeeded NLIB until 1947 when the Rehabilitation Finance Corporation (RFC) was created under Republic Act No. 85. RFC is indicated by the upper left corner. The Development Bank of the Philippine (DBP), established in 1958 by virtue of Republic Act No. 2081, is represented by the upper right corner.
Depicted in the logo's rock-like symbol are more than four decades of institutional integrity and steadfast dedication to national economic aspirations.
