A labor educator and labor relations practitioner, Floro F. Oliveros has extensive work experience with various employee unions in the country, from the Brotherhood of Asian Trade Unionists of the Office of the President in 1983, to the Federation of Free Workers in 2001. He has also served at the House of Representatives, the Employees Compensation Commission, and the Home Development Mutual Fund.
He further honed his experience and expertise through attendance in various local and international conferences on labor relations and labor law reform, including the International Internship Course on Social and Labor Policy Development at the International Institute for Labour Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
Mr. Oliveros is the Executive Director of the Philippine Social Institute, and an Executive Committee Member of the National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council.
Mr. Oliveros earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Santo
Tomas. He also pursued AB Philosophy, with honors, at the St. Francis de
Sales Regional College Seminary.
