Prior to his appointment to the DBP, Ramon Durano IV served as
the city administrator of Danao City in Cebu, where he was vice
mayor from 1992-2001. He had also been affiliated with the Vice
Mayor's League of the Philippines, first as vice president for
the Visayas, and then as vice president for operations. He had
also been the president of the Vice-Mayor's League of Cebu and
president of the Cebu chapter of the National Movement of Young
Legislators.
Before joining government service, Mr. Durano worked in various
capacities for Universal Cement Company, Inc., Durano Oxygen &
Acetylene Company, and Republic Drydock Corporation.
Born and raised in Cebu City, Mr. Durano finished Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration from the University of San
Carlos. He has a master's degree in Management from the University
of the Philippines.
