INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNT (IMA)
- Under an IMA arrangement, the Principal
transfers and delivers to the Investment Manager a sum of money
which the latter shall manage, invest and reinvest, including
all increments and additions thereto that may constitute income
hereof, for the benefit of the Principal

- Services to be rendered by the Investment
Manager:
- Invest and reinvest funds in high-yielding
instruments. The Principal may specify desired investment
outlet (directional IMA) or give full discretion to the
Trustee;
- Register or endorse instruments and/or
securities in the name of the Principal or the Investment
Manager and to make, sign, execute and deliver all related
documents;
- Collect whatever is due on transactions
entered into;
- Keep custody of any and all instruments,
documents and papers in connection with transactions entered
into; and
- Keep complete and accurate book of
accounts showing all transactions affecting the Fund and
render periodic report.
- Target Market: High networth individuals
and private corporations, foundations, associations, organizations,
clubs and agencies like LGUs and GOCCs.
TRADITIONAL TRUST SERVICES
A. SINKING
FUND MANAGEMENT
This service is offered to government as
well as private commercial, savings and rural banks, pursuant
to Monetary Board Resolution No. 1448 dated September 13, 2001
re: establishment and administration of sinking fund for the amount
of money needed for the redemption of redeemable preferred shares.
Services to be rendered by DBP-Trust Services:
- Invests the fund in Government Securities,
Time Deposits, Special Savings Accounts with private banks and
other GFIs and other securities that the Monetary Board may
designate.
- Prepares and submits quarterly reports
on the status of the Fund to the Monetary Board which include
the up-to-date balance of the fund, its composition, income
earned for the period, the kind of financial instruments into
which the fund has been placed and recommendations or proposals
regarding the Fund.
Sinking Fund Management Fee: ½ of 1% p.a.
of the principal fund balance payable/collectible every quarter.
