DBP Net Income Hits P6.09-B in 2009
DBP posted its highest net income ever of P6.09 billion last year even as it continued to support its mandated role of supporting the country’s sustainable development by funding projects in four priority areas, namely: infrastructure and logistics; environmental protection; social services; and micro, small and medium enterprises.
President & CEO Reynaldo G. David said that the amount represents a 70-percent increase from the P3.6 billion net income registered in 2008. Total assets stood at P292 billion, up from P263.25 billion previously.
